James Gallagher lives and works in New York. His collaged exploration of the human form, gender and sexuality has a raw, sculptural immediacy that utilises muted tones and roughly cut layers to capture the movement and interaction of figures frozen in a moment. James’s most recent project sees him creating studies of live models in real time and the results are stunning.
